ChegElectric
Designing and delivering ChegElectric’s website
A live website for a specialist LV/HV design business, built to make its NERS and EPC offer clear. I designed, built and launched it, then continued managing SEO metadata, analytics and performance reporting.

Context
A specialist business with a specific audience
ChegElectric supports NERS-accredited contractors and EPC teams with LV/HV electrical design, approvals and technical support.
My work covered the website’s design, build and launch, followed by SEO metadata management, analytics and performance reporting.
Challenge
Make the offer clear before the first conversation
The website needed to help a prospective client quickly understand who ChegElectric serves, what support it provides and how to start a project conversation.
The project goal covered positioning, service structure, responsive presentation and a clear route to enquiry.
Homepage
Lead with audience and expertise
The homepage names NERS and EPC projects in its first message. Technical drawing imagery supports the service proposition, while the headline and supporting copy tell specialist visitors what LV/HV support is available. The desktop and mobile layouts keep that message prominent.

Live homepage capture: the NERS and EPC proposition leads on desktop and mobile.
Services
Give the specialist services structure
The site distinguishes NERS design support, EPC electrical design, EV and infrastructure design, and technical consultancy. Naming each service and its practical scope helps a potential client assess whether ChegElectric fits the project.
The site also outlines the path from project brief through design, DNO submission and ongoing support.

Live services capture: specialist support is grouped by service, with a clear path towards discussing a project.
Enquiry
Make the next step clear
The contact page pairs a direct invitation with a short form for a visitor’s name, email and project details. It provides a clear next step after someone has understood the offer and assessed the services.

Live contact capture: the project invitation sits beside the enquiry form.
Outcome
Launch, ongoing work and reflection
I designed, built and launched the ChegElectric website. After launch, I continued managing SEO metadata, analytics and performance reporting.
Following launch and subsequent SEO and metadata improvements, ChegElectric reported increased enquiries and more visitors reaching the website. My work extended beyond the initial build to supporting search visibility and monitoring the site’s performance.
The tangible outcome is a live website with an ongoing process for observing and improving its performance. The work reinforced the value of specific technical language, clear service paths and continuing to care for the site after launch.
